Procrastination

IMG_0442.JPG

How often we don’t find ourselves at this point, doing things in repeat or having the regrets = wish I started earlier or didn’t quit at first. Now starting over again what a pain and time wasting.
Procrastinating is a dangerous thing, there is never a better timing than immediate response to tasks. Think like this: you don’t know your next hour, minute or seconds. Anything can happen when you least expect and your timing becomes too late whereby you had the chance earlier.
As quoted:

A Stitch In Time Saves Nine

IF not now when… Procrastination is that action of you ruining your own life for no reason.
This happens to everyone from time to time, so I’m not perfect as a writer but knowing the various causes of procrastination might help you to respond quickly.

1. Lack of motivation!
Our motivation can be very low and we end up finding it hard to get anything going. Let go of worries and try to discover your purpose in life, let it inspire you. It’s hard to defeat procrastination if you don’t have a purpose. We don’t procrastinate on things we love to do, which makes it difficult to think you’re going the wrong way.

2. Stress
You easily can start procrastinating when stressed and worried, don’t expect to be so productive at this point. Your only way out is reducing that amount of stress in your life. You have to balance your day, do things because you really want to and not because you have to. There is time for everything right… So as much work is being done same thing goes for play time as equally important. That way you can reduce stress.

3. Don’t overwhelm yourself.
One thing at a time, we are not superheroes, you don’t multitask yourself true reality.
The more items you give yourself the more overwhelming you become and start procrastinating. Give yourself as much as you can handle even when you trying to push your ability to do more, don’t over push. Reduce schedules of things.
In job places, I don’t personally tolerate a job that makes me overwork myself to that point of feeling overwhelmed.

Take control and make less space for procrastinating.

Courage!

IMG_0416.JPG

Courage is not the non-existence of fear. It is you overcoming your fear in any situation.
To pursue a dream you need to be courageous, taking a risk for something good.

Fear is the factor that rob us all of our dream. The way to overcome this is courage. Having courage is being able to face that failure and the situation of getting hurt.

Fear can make one hopeless, helpless and even do things more wrongly. But note: the word fear only exist in the mind.

You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.

– Dale Carnegie

You being courageous can conquer all this by having the willingness to confront any danger ahead. Courage can make the difference between your circumstances and greatness.

Being realistic; there are no perfect moment, so don’t expect greatness while sitting on your butt waiting for the perfect opportunity before you act. Don’t hold your breath because It won’t happen.
You need to have the courage to take risks if you want to go anywhere in life.

People take risk everyday even mountain climbers risk it just to see how beautiful the view it from far. It is the same for us. We must be courageous and willing to risk it.

You grow through your experiences, it is mostly where you find the strength to move forward.

Do you & will you have the courage to live life to the full?

Determination and self-discipline

IMG_0400.PNG

Firmness of purpose, the act of coming to a decision.
Determination is the biggest factor of success, but you need to have the “will” to do what you want.
Being willing and able to express your desire.

What does it take to be a champion? Desire, dedication, determination, concentration and the will to win.
– Patty Berg

It is easy to get motivated, inspire and learn the principles to success.
Learn the actions that can lead to achieving goals, making plans, getting career promotions or making a better person out of yourself.

But all of the above requires a quality in you:
Self-Discipline
The ability you have to control and motivate yourself, staying on track and doing what is right.

Eventually many people get frustrated and give up on the process…they expect instant result/instant success, instead of developing self-discipline and having a balance for every step.

Having a balance is the idea of finding it difficult to quit on yourself . You don’t just focus only on the outcome or journey, it’s very important to know where you going.

However be clear about your vision & purpose, your energy levels should be controlled by having enough sleep/rest of mind and focus on enjoying the journey.
Then with determination, balance and commitment you will hopefully be able to progress positively.

Your self discipline is for you to:

Care more than normal and more than necessarily about the result you want.
– Byron Davis

Be Ambitious!

Ambition is the desire to do things. That intention on wanting to succeed.

“Earlier on I wrote about change/decision”. In order for you to apply positive change in your life, you will need to have that desire, intention, that hungriness of doing something that will make an impact in your life. That’s your ambition. The deepest desire of chasing towards your happiness.

Take for example the progress of technology, the ideas of new fashions, all the achievements and progresses you see today are based on someone else’s ambition.

The problem with most people today is limiting their ambition based on the competencies they having.
How can you be striving for success when you can’t get out of that comfort zone..how?

Don’t limit your ambition due to your competence, because that which you think you’ve already mastered can be irrelevant in future.

Ambition:
The excitement of doing something meaningful, something you really want for yourself, not things being forced to do.
It has to be a desire, a challenge you want for yourself.
So being ambitious is having the purpose, desire and believe in oneself; than comes the action/effort you put in making things work.

Change/Decision

IMG_0337.JPG

“Never too old, never too bad, never too late, never too sick to start from scratch once again.” -Bikram Choudhury.

“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” -Andre Gide.

The word change is a wide topic, it’s something that either happens to you with in time or a decision taken.
Lets talk about the positive change/decisions we take.

Maturity can also contribute to a higher level of change whereby you get tired of doing things that don’t motivate you, things you don’t see progress from, things that feels like you stuck in one place.

Although we all struggle with change, but think of the reasons why you are faced with the choices.
A choice that gets you one step closer to your goal is never a bad change. Many times we are faced with the fear of negative decision, not wanting to face regret.
Never make a decision based on avoiding negativity because that’s what you will end up with.

Making decision based what you want to happen, your needs and goals is a positive change that takes place.

Having a great day!

IMG_0330-0.JPG

I have a plan for this day.

Having things planned out doesn’t mean your day will be better than yesterday or as expected.Truth be told, the unexpected is often better than the expected. You might wake up in a bad mood, feeling tired & exhausted. But still we create our own parts, through decisions, reactions, reflections and knowing the purpose of your task being done (Priority/Goals).

As rephrased @”JColeDC: One smile can start a friendship. One word can end a fight. One look can save a relationship and one person can change your life”.

Same applies to having a great start (Positive thinking and attitude). Look towards that which you are going to achieve as the main focus. All plans will fall into place at the end of your day. Self motivation is a good thing to have. All you have to do is condition your mind. Train yourself to think positive thoughts while avoiding negative thoughts.

In such way, having a great day won’t be long from being perfect.
